This is our final message in the sermon series: “Marriage: Then and Now.”  In the lives of Hosea and Gomer, we see the love and Grace of God…and what it means for believers to “love like they have been loved…and forgive as they have been forgiven.”

If we can walk away with one big theme from the life of Abraham and Sarah…it is the theme of faith.  The good news is that (just like us) their faith wasn’t always perfect and never faltering…and yet they are still remembered as a great couple of faith!  If we are going to be successful in our marriages, it is going to take faith as well…check it out!

Many couples in the Old Testament have a lot to teach us about marriage…this one has a lot to say to us about what NOT to do!

This sermon series is looking at some Old Testament examples of marriages…and we are pulling Biblical truths from these stories…and applying what to do, and what NOT to do, to our marriages today!

Part one deals with the relationship of Jacob and Leah (and Rachel).  It teaches us a lesson about when relationships and marriages become an idol in the life of a believer…and where we can find true, lasting satisfaction.
