In Hosea 3, we see a purchase by Hosea that makes other people wonder, ”What was he thinking?” This was a purchase that nobody else was willing or even interested in making. But he made the purchase out of love, because the item was special to him, even though it is tough to see the value in what he got. Here we see the price of true love. And we will learn how God’s commands to Hosea show us a picture of God’s love toward His people and His saving work through Christ.
The strongest relationships are the ones that are on mission…together!
What the world calls “normal” just isn’t working…God has a better plan for our relationships! Watch till the end and hear about one of Pastor Marcus and Alicia’s biggest “arguments!”

You know…most of us have probably said it: “When I grow up I’m going to….” Or “When I grow up I will have…” It’s something that we all have done and some of us are still doing. We have GOALs for our life. That’s a good thing. And we also had goals for who we would marry and what our life would be like. But, sometimes…things just don’t go the way that we imagine them.
As we walk through the first part of this chapter, it becomes clear what God must do to His people in response to their constant spiritual adultery. Yet, as we get into the second half, we see that God does the exact opposite. We are going to watch God do something that nobody would have seen coming; nobody!
If the Gospel is the Good News—then we need to understand that it starts with Bad News. But thank God for the Good News!
