I need you to do two things for Vacation Bible School:
1. Pray!
Please pray for the kiddos that are coming our way and their families! Many times, God will start a whole revival in a family through the lives of children! Pray for all of our team members that are going to be helping and serving…pray that this will be a God-blessed, God-sized week as we minister to kiddos!
2. Register and invite!
If you have not already registered your kiddos, you can do it by clicking here, (you can also sign-up to help!) or you can sign-up in the church foyer. Everyone who signs up will be getting a free shirt! (You can also order shirts–if you can’t be here for VBS–in the church foyer…they are $12 each. You are going to want one of these shirts!)
Invite everyone you know with kiddos or grandkiddos to our VBS! God is going to bless it and it will be a blast!
VBS is one of the very most important things that we do as a church family. Sometimes it can be hard…or maybe stressful. But it is always worth it times a million! I am praying that you will come and be a part of it…if you can’t be there each night, join us on the nights you can! We can always use more willing hands!

We had another God-blessed week at Grace! This week we had another packed sanctuary (thank you again to those who sat in the foyer and hallway!) and many first-time guests. We had a HUGE Children’s Church and a great nursery. We were blessed to be able to recognize some of our graduating seniors…Several people indicated that they were praying to receive Christ and two joined the church! Sunday night we had almost 100 in evening worship! This past Wed. night we had two more join the church!

We have a lot of things coming up at Grace, (Directory pictures, Mother’s Day, VBS, etc.) but I want to zero in on one thing for this week!
NEW WORSHIP SCHEDULE STARTING THIS SUNDAY!
We are adding a Sunday morning worship service! God truly has been blessing us with so many attending Grace that we are making room as quickly as possible! Our new worship schedule is:
Both of our morning worship services will be identical in every way. Our new worship leader, Scott Diffee, will be leading with the same music, and I will be preaching the same message in both services.
We are so grateful that God has been blessing us to such an extent that adding a service is needed! I want to encourage you to join us this week and invite your friends and family to join you.
Please pray for this transition time…we are committed to remaining flexible and learning as much as we can about how to best utilize our multiple services and making changes as needed. We will grow and learn together!
I am excited about this new opportunity to share the Gospel to an even greater extent…and I have never been more proud as a pastor as I have watched our church family do whatever it takes to make our guests feel welcome and to make room for even more.

This Sunday at Grace!
This Sunday we will be taking a moment and recognizing our graduates…please be in prayer for these young people as they live out God’s calling on their lives!
Sunday morning at 10, we will be continuing our sermon series, “Wrong!” as we continue to look at Bible verses that are often misinterpreted and misapplied.
Sunday night at 6 we will also be continuing our journey through the Book of Nehemiah! Nehemiah is an awesome book of the Bible…with many applicable lessons for the Christian life…I hope that you will make plans to join us!

Wow! We had another God-blessed Sunday at Grace this past week! We started the morning off with a great Sunday School, baptism, awesome worship, (almost 300 in attendance) and a Spirit-filled invitation! We had two come forward confessing salvation and desiring to be baptized…with a total of 12 joining our church family! This past Wed. night, our church was literally overflowing with kiddos and students… God is good!!
We also had a huge announcement this past Sunday!
Because God has been blessing us in such a HUGE way at Grace with more and more people coming…we are beyond capacity!
So we are making room for you with a new, identical worship service!

Please note the new worship times and make plans to invite your friends and family to join us! (I have spoken with some of you that have had folks that you wanted to bring to Grace, but couldn’t because of overcrowding…now, you can!) Graduate Recognition Sunday is April 29th!
Graduate Sunday (High School & College) is coming up on Sunday, April 29th! We look forward to recognizing and honoring our graduates every year!
Anyone graduating that would like to participate should let the church office or Lisa Plunk know…and please bring (or send through email) a few pics (baby thru graduation) to the church office or give to Lisa Plunk by THIS Sunday, April 22nd.
Also, if you are interested in setting up a graduate table in the foyer…please let Lisa know! We don’t want to leave anyone out…so, please help us spread the word!
This Sunday at Grace!
We are super-excited to be starting our worship service off with two baptisms! Praise God!
We will also be continuing our sermon series, “Wrong,” where we have been looking at common misinterpretations of Bible verses and looking at what they really mean!
This Sunday we will be looking at Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
We will also be issuing the call for more volunteers to serve at Grace! As we multiply our worship services, the need for help multiplies as well! Prayerfully consider serving in the nursery, children’s church, audio-visual, as ushers, greeters, or security. We have awesome people serving in these areas now…but, we want everyone to serve someone!
At Grace, our mission is to reach West Tennessee, America, and the World for Jesus Christ!
Our strategy is simple and life-changing:

Pray for our services this week…that God would be glorified and that people would be changed forever!

This past week at Grace, something incredible happened…and to be completely honest, it is something that I have never even heard of happening in the life of a church before. This past Sunday, our Worship and Sunday School attendance actually went UP the Sunday AFTER Easter!
God blessed us with 312 in worship and 97 in Sunday School! And we had 1 baptized, 7 joined our church family and 1 came forward for baptism…plus, several indicated they were praying to receive Christ!
We also had an awesome time of Parent/Child Dedication…pray for these precious families!
Remember: we count people because people count to God! God has been so good to us…and I pray that we praise Him for His Grace upon Grace! Never forget the goodness of God in all of this.

We have a BIG announcement this Sunday about the future of our church! Make sure and be with us this Sunday as we talk about the future at Grace…don’t miss it and invite someone to be with you!
