Many couples in the Old Testament have a lot to teach us about marriage…this one has a lot to say to us about what NOT to do!

Love Overwhelming!
The Book of 1 John has so many references to the love of God…that it is obvious that the Apostle John was absolutely overwhelmed by the love of God…and we should be, too!
Check out this Bible Study from 1 John 4:17-21!
Marriage: Then and Now (Jacob and Leah)
This sermon series is looking at some Old Testament examples of marriages…and we are pulling Biblical truths from these stories…and applying what to do, and what NOT to do, to our marriages today!
Part one deals with the relationship of Jacob and Leah (and Rachel). It teaches us a lesson about when relationships and marriages become an idol in the life of a believer…and where we can find true, lasting satisfaction.
I’m a fighter!
God has called every man to fight the good fight…the only question is: will you?
Answering the Call
“Answering the Call” is the conclusion to the Sermon Series, “Be the Man!” God has a calling on every man’s life…but, it is up to that man to decide if he is going to build his own kingdom that won’t last…or to build God’s Kingdom which will last forever.
This Week at Grace!

This Wed. Night at Grace:
Wed. Nights at Grace really are special!

Our “Back to School Bash” is back again this year at the Woodland Hills swimming pool! This is for all of our Grace youth, kiddos and their families! This event is absolutely free–pizza and drinks will be provided!

Coming up at Grace:

As the school year gets kicked off--we want to encourage and pray for all of our local teachers and staff! We also want to be a blessing: We will have a drawing for several gift cards (to help the teachers with their expenses starting the school year) and for one $100 gift card–and we will also be sponsoring that teacher’s class for the school year.
We will have a great meal and time of fellowship…please join us for this special time of encouragement!
All teachers, staff and their families are invited to join us!
Please RSVP here: http://www.gracepinson.org/teacherstaff-appreciation
Please be in serious prayer for our services this week…God has blessed us abundantly, and we do not want to take that for granted. Invite your friends, family, and neighbors to join us–you will never know the eternal impact you could be having just by doing that! Be a bringer!
Now is the time to share Jesus!

Peace in Troubles
Being a believer does not mean that your heart will not ever get troubled…that you feel like you have lost that assurance or fellowship. Check out what the apostle John has to say about it in 1 John 3:19-24.
What’s the Difference?
Many people today are not asking the question: “Does God exist?” They are asking the question: “If God exists, what difference does it make? Check out “What’s the Difference,” part one in our sermon series: Big Questions.
Love and Hate
In a world where there is so much animosity and anger… when a believer begins to manifest the love of God in his dealings with other people, there is a tremendous testimony to what Jesus Christ can do in a heart and in a life. We are to live a life of love…in this world of hate! John tells us how to do that.
